⛰️ BACK HOME

After 6,000 miles on the road and countless beautiful rivers (fine it was about 7 of them), my pup and I are back in the Catskills and it feels so, so good. Crispy season is around the corner. A few eager leaves are starting to change colors and the firewood is stacked in anticipation for the cold nights ahead. For my fellow anglers, fall run brown trout are about to move up from the reservoirs, marking one of my favorite times to be out on the water. Tying on oversized October Caddis patterns and casting optimistically at those golden bellied browns. Bring on the porters, the stouts, and the flannel my friends.

🦅 THE EAGLE HAS LANDED

A big ol’ box showed up on my doorstep this morning. Inside — cranial gold! The four gorgeous stacks of Crew Caps have arrived. There are a few left. The brown are gone. Appreciate everyone’s input on designing these, and I’ll be shipping them out first thing in the morning.

P.S. I’ll be throwing in some additional little surprises to a few random boxes as a thank you.

The people have spoken yet again with a staggering 93.85% in favor of a Catskill Crew Monopoly Board. This is going to be a big one and a fun one my friends. I‘ve been in talks with the manufacturing partner and if we can make the numbers make sense we can all bring this idea to life and throw a fun Crew Monopoly party. Mr. Monopoly Monocles are a requirement.

🎤 FERRY’OKE

Locking in the details for the next Crew Cruise on the mighty Hudson for early October, and this time there will be karaoke. Since my dance moves are better than my singing, I’m considering taking vocal lessons so I can do Orinoco Flow or butcher Waymore’s Blues. Stay tuned.
