Catskill Crew #057
This week in the Catskills
10,000 Crew Member Giveaway
When I started this newsletter, typing away by the wood stove, sharing local events and my fly fishing misadventures, I never imagined our community would grow to be this big.
Whether you have been here since the first day or just joined this morning, here's to the next 10,000 crew members and many more adventures together in these mountains we call home. You all have made it what it is today, through your suggestions, stories, and support. Thank you for being part of this journey.
Shoutout to mom for being subscriber #1. Love you.
To celebrate this milestone, I want to do a special giveaway:
🧢 An ultra-rare Catskill Crew hat from my personal stash (unworn, I promise!)

To enter, just fill out the quick survey below, winner announced next week!
Hudson River Cruise: Sold Out
And just like that, the tickets for our final river cruise of 2024 with the Kingston Boat Co are gone. It’ll be a good time and we will certainly get more lined up with them in the future! But fear not, more Catskill Crew Experiences cometh soon!
Adopt Bear
Our dog of the week is Bear. He is an adventerous 6 year old Chow Chow, clocking in at 73lb. You can learn more about adopting here.
Snow on the Horizon
We all know the weather changes drastically with all of our microclimates. But, if the meteorologists are right (please be right…), then Mother Nature will be delivering us some much needed precipitation. At the time of writing this, snow is forecasted from Thursday through Sunday! See y’all on the slopes.
Otsego Land Trust
This week we're featuring Otsego Land Trust, an incredible organization that has worked with landowners and partners to protect and conserve more than 12,000 acres in Otsego, Schoharie, and Delaware counties. They can use your support to continue protecting our lands for future generations to come by making a donation here.
