Catskill Crew #061

This week in the Catskills

Announcing: Crew Card #002

Big news! After overwhelming support from the community, we're launching a second Crew Card featuring 10 new restaurant partners across the Catskills. Each spot will offer a 10% discount, making it the perfect excuse to explore some of the region's best spots!

The cards will be valid through 2025 and available in limited quantities. While you'll have plenty of time to use them, you might want to grab one quickly once you see the impressive partners.

Currently at the printer - stay tuned for the full reveal and sale announcement next week!

Update: Catskill-opoly

After a manufacturing setback that required a complete production restart, I'm thrilled to announce that THE MONOPOLY BOARDS ARE FINALLY ON THEIR WAY!

The shipment is expected to arrive in the Catskills within the next few weeks, at which point I'll hit go on taking orders. Thank you for your patience throughout this process - I can't wait to get these into your hands!

Night Sky: Winter Solstice is Incoming

The winter solstice arrives December 21st at 4:20am, marking our shortest day of the year here in the Catskills. While it officially kicks off winter, it also means our days will slowly start getting longer again. Time to stoke those fires and cross our fingers for some holiday snow!

Adopt Pets!

This week’s pets up for adoption are the incredible duo, Pickle and Pumpkin! We know very little of our canine buddy, all we know is he is a “baby” so you will have to reach out to learn more about adopting him. And our feline friend is shy and sweet, and also has an inseparable best friend named Sunday, Learn more about adopting him.

The West Kortright Center

Since 1975, the West Kortright Center has been bringing world-class performers and diverse voices to a small corner of the Catskills. The historic stage has hosted an incredible range of talent, from avant-garde icons like Allen Ginsburg and John Cage to roots legends like Odetta and global music stars like Dakha Brakha. Beyond performances, the Center serves as a hub for community gatherings, educational workshops, art exhibitions, and a renowned youth theatre program that has launched countless careers from New York to Hollywood. As the Center approaches its 50th anniversary in 2025 (and the building's 175th!), it remains true to its founding mission of bringing the creative arts to the local community - including the neighboring cows! Those interested can follow the WKC newsletter for upcoming events and plans to renovate the space during this milestone year.
